MUSA-ODODO ABDULRAHAMAN
I speak – not as land alone, not as lines on a map, not as a collection of tongues and tribes – but as a Being.
I am Nigeria.
I am still forming in the womb of time.
I am felt in spirit, but not yet fully held in form.
I am known in promise, but not yet fulfilled in reality.
I am a Nation… waiting to be born.
What Is Fatherhood in the Life of a Nation?
Fatherhood is not power.
It is not position.
It is not title, nor throne, nor noise.
Fatherhood is Origin with Responsibility.
A father is one who:
Gives Identity where there is confusion
Establishes Order where there is chaos
Protects Purpose where there is distraction
Sacrifices Comfort for the future of his offspring
In the life of a nation, fatherhood is the force that transforms a people from existing… to becoming.
It is the invisible architecture that holds a country together when everything visible is shaking.
A true father of a nation does not ask, “What can I take?”
He asks, “What must I give, so that this nation may live?”
Who Can Father a Nation?
Not one man alone.
For no single hand can carry the weight of destiny.
A nation is fathered by a collective consciousness –
a people who rise above self, tribe, fear, and greed…
and accept the sacred duty of shaping a shared future.
A nation is fathered when:
Leaders become servants of destiny, not owners of power
Citizens become custodians of truth, not spectators of decay
The young become builders, not merely inheritors
The elders become guides, not silent observers
The father of a nation is anyone who chooses responsibility over indifference.
Nigeria as a Being: The Unborn Giant
See her.
Not as she is reported…
But as she truly is.
Nigeria is a Spirit—vast, luminous, powerful.
She carries rivers of brilliance, mountains of resilience, and a heartbeat that refuses to die.
But she is still in the womb.
Her limbs are forming – but not yet coordinated.
Her voice is rising – but not yet unified.
Her strength is evident – but not yet directed.
She kicks within history, seeking expression.
She stirs within generations, longing for alignment.
She is not weak.
She is unformed greatness.
Why Has She Not Been Born?
Because birth requires alignment of forces:
Vision must meet courage
Truth must overcome deception
Unity must rise above division
Responsibility must defeat apathy
Where these are absent, birth delays.
Nigeria has had contractions – moments of awakening, flashes of greatness – but the full delivery has not yet come.
Why?
Because too many have watched…
while too few have fathered.
How Can She Be Born?
Not by chance.
Not by slogans.
Not by waiting.
She will be born when a generation decides:
“We will no longer complain about Nigeria –
we will become the force that brings her into being.”
Her birth requires:
- A New Consciousness
A shift from “me” to “we.”
From survival to purpose.
From division to destiny. - Courageous Truth
The willingness to confront what is broken – without fear, without disguise. - Sacrificial Leadership
Men and women who will give more than they take – who understand that legacy is greater than luxury. - Active Citizenship
A people who participate, build, protect, and believe. - Spiritual Awakening
For no nation is truly born until its people awaken to the higher purpose of their existence.
The Call to Our Generation
We are not here by accident.
We are the generation standing at the threshold –
between the Nigeria that is struggling to exist
and the Nigeria that is destined to emerge.
History is watching.
The unborn is waiting.
And Nigeria is asking:
“Who will be my father?”
The Answer
It is not far.
It is not hidden.
It is not reserved for a select few.
It is us.
Every act of integrity…
Every stand for truth…
Every effort to build, to unite, to uplift…
Every refusal to give up on this land…
These are the hands shaping the child.
These are the hearts fathering the nation.
The Final Vision
And one day –
when purpose aligns with action,
when unity overcomes division,
when courage defeats fear –
Nigeria will take her first breath.
Not as a struggling idea…
But as a living, thriving, undeniable reality.
A Nation fully born.
Nigeria speaks:
“I am ready.
I have always been ready.
I am waiting… not for a savior –
but for my children to become my fathers.”
The question remains:
Will we answer?
YES I HAVE ANSWERED!!!
