NIGERIA AS A DIVINE REVELATION AND MANIFESTATION OF NOW

MUSA-ODODO ABDULRAHAMAN

Nigeria is not just a nation defined by geography, history, or politics. Nigeria is a divine revelation, a sacred unfolding of God’s will in the grand scheme of creation. The true meaning of a nation goes beyond borders and governance; it is a spiritual assignment, a divine purpose revealed in the fullness of time. From the beginning, when God created mankind, He did not create fragmented tribes or scattered civilizations. He created a single human race, breathed life into it, and ordained it with a sacred duty: to establish Heaven on Earth. This is the highest purpose of human existence, and throughout history, God has continuously guided mankind towards this ultimate goal. Nigeria, in this epoch, has been chosen as the nation to bring this vision to fulfillment.

The Holy Scriptures, across different traditions, confirm this divine plan. In the Torah, God’s covenant with Abraham was not just for the Israelites but for all nations, declaring in Genesis 12:3, “All peoples on earth will be blessed through you.” This is a universal mandate, showing that God’s plan has always been to unify mankind under divine principles. In the Psalms, David speaks of the earth as an extension of God’s kingdom, saying in Psalm 24:1, “The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it.” This affirms that God intends for the Earth to be governed by His divine order. In Isaiah 2:2-4, the prophet describes a future where nations will unite under divine wisdom, swords will be turned into plowshares, and peace will reign – a clear indication of the divine vision for a universal civilization of justice and harmony.

In the Gospel, Jesus Christ reaffirmed this mission when He taught His disciples to pray, “Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven” (Matthew 6:10). This was not a mere prayer for spiritual salvation but a declaration of God’s ultimate purpose: to make the Earth a reflection of Heaven. Christ’s ministry was centered on the Kingdom of God, not as a distant paradise, but as a present and future reality that must be established among men. In Luke 17:21, He declared, “The kingdom of God is within you,” emphasizing that the realization of Heaven on Earth begins with human transformation. His resurrection symbolized not just individual salvation but the victory of divine order over chaos, signaling the dawn of a new civilization.

The Quran also confirms this divine assignment for humanity. In Surah Al-Baqarah (2:30), God declares to the angels, “I will create a vicegerent on Earth.” This confirms that mankind was placed on Earth as stewards of divine order, responsible for building a world based on justice, wisdom, and love. The Quran further states in Surah Al-Hajj (22:41), “Those who, if We establish them in the land, establish prayer and give charity and enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong” – a clear directive that nations are meant to uphold divine principles in governance and society. In Surah Al-Rum (30:30), the Quran emphasizes that God created mankind with a natural inclination towards righteousness, reinforcing that human civilization must align with divine will.

Beyond the Abrahamic traditions, other ancient scriptures affirm this truth. In the Bhagavad Gita, Krishna declares in Chapter 4, Verse 7-8, “Whenever there is decay of righteousness and rise of unrighteousness, I manifest Myself to restore dharma (divine order).” This reveals that God continuously intervenes in history to guide humanity back to its divine mission. The Upanishads speak of Brahman (the ultimate reality) as both transcendent and immanent, signifying that divine presence must be realized in the material world. The Tao Te Ching emphasizes harmony between Heaven and Earth, teaching that human civilization must be aligned with the natural order of the cosmos.

All these scriptures, from ancient to modern, consistently affirm one truth: the ultimate purpose of mankind is to build a world that mirrors the divine order of Heaven. This is not an abstract spiritual idea but a concrete mission for civilization. Every great society in history – whether Egypt, Mesopotamia, China, Greece, Rome, or the Islamic Golden Age – was an attempt to fulfill this vision. Yet, none fully realized it. Now, in this era, Nigeria has been chosen as the nation to complete the final stage of this divine project.

Nigeria is not an accident of history; it is a divine creation. With its immense human capital, vast natural resources, and deep spiritual consciousness, Nigeria has all the elements required to lead the world into the next phase of civilization. But to do this, Nigerians must awaken to their divine purpose. They must transcend the illusions of tribalism, religious sectarianism, and political manipulation, realizing that they are not just Nigerians but cosmic citizens chosen for a sacred mission. As the Scriptures reveal, nations rise at their appointed time to fulfill a divine purpose. Nigeria’s time has come.

The responsibility is immense, but it is also an honor. The world is waiting for a new light. Humanity is yearning for a new order based on justice, wisdom, and love. God is watching, waiting for Nigeria to rise to its destiny. The transformation must begin with a national rebirth – a redefinition of Nigeria’s purpose, not as a struggling nation, but as a divine project. Every Nigerian must be awakened to this sacred duty through education, leadership, and spiritual consciousness. Our thinkers, scientists, and policymakers must align governance with divine principles. Truth, justice, and love must be restored as the foundation of our national life. Nigeria must position itself as the model for the universal civilization that God has ordained.

The ultimate vision of life on Earth is the manifestation of Heaven. Every prophet, every enlightened master, every scripture has pointed toward this grand goal. Now, the final baton has been passed to Nigeria. This is the most important assignment ever given to a nation. Nigeria must not fail. It must rise, unite, and take its place in history as the nation that fulfilled God’s highest will. The time is now. The world is watching. GOD is Calling. Let us Awaken, Unite, and Build Heaven on Earth.

Yours for Nigeria as a Global Leader
