NIGERIANS – A PEOPLE IN DIRE NEED OF A FATHER, NOT A POLITICIAN

MUSA-ODODO ABDULRAHAMAN

An Invocation for National Awakening and the Dawn of a New Civilization

  1. The Cry of a Nation Without a Father

Nigeria, the Giant of Africa, stands today at the crossroads of destiny. We have endured the rule of politicians, the reign of rhetoric, and the endless recycling of promises that vanish like smoke in the wind. Yet beneath the noise, there is a deeper ache – a cry not for another leader, but for a Father.

A Father who does not seek power but purpose.
A Father who does not rule from ambition but from vision.
A Father whose love transcends party, tribe, and creed –
one who sees in every Nigerian a divine seed waiting to blossom.

For decades, we have been governed by men who see the nation as a property to exploit, not as a soul to nurture. The result is a people wandering in moral wilderness, rich in potential but poor in guidance. The child without a father grows restless; the nation without a father loses direction.

  1. The Essence of True Fatherhood

Fatherhood is not about age or authority – it is a Spiritual Responsibility.
A True Father is a Seer – one who perceives beyond the material, who discerns the invisible threads of destiny weaving through his people. He understands the Divine Blueprint of the Nation and Calls each Soul to Align with that Purpose.

A Father is a Lightbearer – he carries illumination through the darkness of confusion.
He does not divide; he unites.
He does not exploit; he empowers.
He does not command from above; he awakens from within.

A Father is a Master Builder. He lays foundations, not facades. He builds men before monuments, and consciousness before cities. He is a custodian of principles that outlive generations – a builder of civilization, not an administrator of chaos.

  1. Why Nigeria Needs a Father Now

This moment in our history is not political – it is spiritual.
We are not facing a crisis of economy alone, but a crisis of essence. Our youth have lost faith, our elders have lost hope, and our leaders have lost vision. The nation drifts because the center – the moral and spiritual heart – is missing.

In every age of awakening, a Father arises – one who embodies the collective longing of the people and channels it into a divine movement.

When Israel groaned under oppression, Moses rose as a Father to deliver and to teach.

When India groped in servitude, Gandhi emerged as a Father of Soul-force.

When America lay divided, Martin Luther King Jr. became a Father of Dream and Justice.

When Africa sought liberation, Mandela became a Father of Forgiveness and Rebirth.

Nigeria awaits such a Father – not another politician who campaigns, but a Prophetic Builder who creates; not one who competes for office, but one who carries the Office of the Spirit.

  1. The Father as the Embodiment of Light, Love, and Life

A true Father heals by embodying the qualities the people have forgotten:

Light – the power to see clearly; to reveal truth where deceit has ruled.

Love – the divine glue that dissolves tribalism, hate, and greed, reuniting all under the bond of shared destiny.

Life – the creative energy that revives the sleeping potentials of the nation, calling forth innovation, courage, and greatness from within every Nigerian.

This Father will not be limited to a lifetime – his Spirit will become trans-generational.
He will awaken Fathers in every home, mentors in every street, builders in every institution.
He will restore the Sacred Order of Fatherhood – the principle of guidance, protection, and purpose – that births civilizations and sustains them through the storms of time.

  1. The Call to Nigerians – Return to the Spirit of Sonship

Every Nigerian must now ask: Have I been waiting for a leader, or preparing to be led by the Spirit of a Father?
For this new Father will not come to enslave minds but to awaken them. He will not feed dependency but ignite destiny.

He will speak to the sleeping Kings and Queens in our souls.
He will remind us that Nigeria was not created to beg or to borrow, but to behold and to build.

Let the youth arise – not as rebels, but as heirs.
Let the elders arise – not as mourners of a lost age, but as guardians of a new dawn.
Let the women arise – as Mothers of the Future, wombs of civilization.
For the Father cannot build alone; the family must awaken with him.

  1. The Fatherhood Revolution: The Foundation of a New Civilization

No empire endures without Moral Pillars. No nation thrives without Spiritual Order. The next civilization will not be built by technocrats or soldiers – it will be built by Fathers and Mothers of Light.

Nigeria’s divine mission is to birth that civilization – a civilization of Conscious Builders, where leadership is fatherhood, and governance is guidance.

It begins not in government houses but in hearts – when each Nigerian says:

“I am part of this New Fatherhood. I am a Lightbearer. I am a Builder.”

Then the Spirit of the Father – the Seer, the Healer, the Master Builder – will arise among us and within us.

  1. The Final Declaration

Nigerians, we have been governed long enough. It is time to be guided.
We have been ruled long enough. It is time to be raised.
We have been divided long enough. It is time to be delivered into our Divine Oneness.

The hour has come for The Father of the New Nigeria – not a man of politics, but a Vessel of Purpose.
When he arises, the people will recognize his voice not by his words, but by the stirring of their Souls.
He will not campaign – he will Call.
He will not promise – he will Prophesy.
He will not govern the old – he will Birth the New.

And through him, Nigeria shall remember Her Destiny:

To be the Cradle of the New Civilization –
A Nation of Light, Love, and Life.
